ORGANIZATIONAL TIP
OF THE MONTH

April, 2008

Each month you will find a tip designed to help you keep organized and "on-track" throughout the month, and eventually, throughout the entire year.

APRIL 15th is the US tax deadline. If you haven't filed your income taxes yet, do so before midnight.

Now that the weather is warming up, get your sneakers on and start walking. Get yourself a pedometer and aim for 10,000 steps per day!

Do you have small gifts around the house that you've been meaning to use as birthday presents or congratulations gifts? Be sure they're all stored together, and check this inventory before going to the store to buy your next gift.

Make a chore checklist for your family members, including all adults and kids living in your house. Display it, and enforce it. Household chores should be a family effort.

Tackle a project at work that you've been procrastinating on. Don't allow any interruptions and stick to this project throughout the day.

Set a timer and spend the next 60 minutes weeding out your filing cabinet. Keep a shredder nearby to immediately destroy any paperwork containing personal information, such as social security or bank account numbers

Try to learn at least one new thing each day. Buy yourself a notebook and jot down your findings. In fact, have the entire family do this, and share your discoveries with each other at the dinner table.
